Products Available at Whitwell Sawmill

As we continue to expand our customer base, supplying a wide range of timbers to the local area, we have also been creating a few finished pieces in our workshop that are available to purchase ready to use in your home.

Firstly we have been creating a collection of waney edge tables. We are also able to make tables and table tops to order in your chosen dimensions and wood type. These tables can be made with industrial metal legs or wooden legs depending on your desired style. You are welcome to make an appointment to come and choose your timber from The Wood Store in Hertfordshire or we can show you options via video call and photographs. At this point we can also give you an idea of timescale, depending on our workshop schedule.

In addition we also have a some waney edge shelves that have been finished and are ready to put up at home. These make stunning display pieces in their own right, adding character and charm to any room, whilst being practical to display/ hold household items. If you are purchasing your timber from us to make something such as a river table, we are now able to offer kits of GlassCast Epoxy Resin so you can complete your resin/ timber project at home. We have GlassCast 50 Clear Epoxy Casting Resin/ Plus available in a variety of kit sizes, starting at 500g. We also have black pigment available to purchase. These kits are only available for collection from The Wood Store near Hitchin. Of course if you're not wanting to do the resin yourself we can offer this as part of our finishing services at our workshop.
